About Rebecca
Rebecca Thom (nee Rebecca Dale) BSc (Hons.) PG Dip AM MMAA McTimoney Animal Therapist Equine Touch Student is a member of the McTimoney Animal Association and the British Complementary Medicine Association.
Upon finishing school Rebecca went to Duchy College to complete a HND in Equine Science with Distinction. Whilst studying for this HND she also gained BHS Stage 3 and was awarded the "Student of the year" award two years running.
Rebecca then went onto Warwickshire College of Agriculture to "top-up" her HND to a BSc (Hons.) Equine Science.
Rebecca was then accepted into the McTimoney College of Chiropractitioners in Oxford to study for her Post Graduate Diploma in Animal Manipulation.
So in 2006, after six years of training, Rebecca finally became the Animal Therapist she always wanted to be and started working as such.
Then in January 2008 after watching a practitioner and talking with a friend, Rebecca started her training to become an Equine Touch Practitioner and qualified in May 2009.
Rebecca has ridden and competed horses all her life and has worked in a range of yards including stud, point to point, eventing and dressage. Rebecca has also always had dogs in her family. Rebecca specialises in horses and dogs but has also treated sheep and cats and is willing to treat any animal.
Rebecca has now completed the Advanced Level 4 Equine Touch Course in June 2010.
Rebecca Qualified as a VHT Human Practitioner in 2011.
Rebecca became an FEI permitted therapist in 2018, and a member of AHPR in 2019.
